How to get to Mid-town NYC

Airports:
What is the nearest airport to New York? The nearest airport to New York is New York La Guardia (LGA) Airport, which is 7.3 miles away. Other nearby airports include Teterboro (TEB) (9.4 miles), Newark (EWR) (9.9 miles), New York JFK (JFK) (12.8 miles) and White Plains (HPN) (28.2 miles).

Local Transportation:
You can take a train from New York JFK (JFK) to Manhattan via Jamaica Station and Jamaica in around 35 min. Alternatively, Newark Airport Express operates a bus from Terminal B to W 42nd St & Port Authority Terminal every 30 minutes. Tickets cost $5 - $19 and the journey takes 48 min.

The most popular way to get from JFK, Newark or Laguardia Airports to Manhattan is via taxi. There is a flat rate from JFK  that is $52 plus tolls and tip. (Source: NYCgo)
